My dearest Anakin,

Since my first entry, I’ve been doing a little better. For a day or so the idea of continuing this made me ill, but this morning I felt compelled to write again. It is, I must confess, Obi-wan’s suggestion that I keep this correspondence.  For all that I teased the man, he has a wisdom that I need so desperately now.
