Why is it a sad day for Singapore? O_o Personally, I'm glad to see that for this elections, people really considered who and what they were voting for, instead of just marking 'PAP' on their slips. And meh, I know why LHL said that. He doesn't think that way at all; just utterly horrified that he got such results for his first election.

It's not enough - it's a halfway result, that doesn't do anything other than telling LHL that we don't like him.

And if people had seriously considered, it wouldn't be 82 seats out of 84.

well at least, PAP knows they are loosing their stand. if they still continues to be like this. yeah the power of internet is great. but i wonder what will their new legeslative be? bann us from writng on blogs ?

PAP better make some improvement man.

I do partially agree with the anonymouse above. Also, you seem to be expecting a RAWRREVOLUTION!!!1 which, considering Singaporeans and the last elections, doesn't happen in a flash.

I think the percentages overall were very important. LHL, I think, knows that even the PAP has its problems, and it's not just that we don't like him. :)
