Recs List: Post-Holiday Edition
I'm going to try to organize these into some semblance of order, so we'll see how this goes, mmkay?

furiosity wrote Fade to Silver, which is this great take on the amnesia concept. Draco Malfoy reinvents himself completely as a muggle here, which is always a fascinating read. This story isn't as predictable as you would think, which is always a plus.
who_la_hoop wrote 101 Ways to Heal Your Wizarding Woes (Or, an Unfortunate Incident with a Traffic Cone and a Policeman’s Helmet), a fic that should not be taken too seriously - did you see the title? I have a soft spot for goofy titles and this fic lives up to it. So hysterical, I laughed out loud SO many times.
frayach wrote the fantastic, heartbreaking, wonderful The Price We Pay for Wings, which was so amazing that I never wanted it to end. There's a gripping backstory, and the characters suck you in completely. I wanted more. lillithium drew a beautiful H/D portrait to accompany the fic. Apparently she's writing an out-take to accompany the fic, which makes me really happy, so I'm going to keep stalking her journal 'til it happens.
scrtkpr wrote Arctic Fox, a truly realistic portrayal of a post-DH world. All of the characters are so well-developed and the interaction is meaningful and sometimes surprising, especially between George and Draco.
cutecoati wrote Cupid , in which Harry, Draco, and Narcissa take Teddy to the zoo. This fic is made of awesome :).
kestrelsparhawk wrote Squib, which I'm pretty sure goes on my top 5-10 list of favorite fics, ever. I'm going to read this story again and again. Carpenter!Draco is HOT.
spark_of_chaos wrote Own Two Legs, where Harry's life seems to move backward, while Draco's moves forward, but somehow they hang on to one another through it all. It's epilogue compliant, which can sometimes be a bad thing, but I like this author's take on it.
rurounihime wrote Vale Sanare, both heartbreaking and beautiful. Draco is wracked with seizures after the war and Harry helps him heal.
blamebrampton wrote An Act of Simple Devotion, which I love for its ensemble cast and humor. The politics, the laughter, the friendship - this is good stuff.
tkp wrote Now the Shining Sun is Up, in which Draco takes down The Man and Harry can't help but join in. I love the building tension and the humor.
janicechess wrote Wrecking Ball, this unexpectedly wonderful fic involving Draco getting into a secret society and the repercussions thereof. Snarky and hilarious and kind of warm and fuzzy too, but not in a bad way ;).

djinniyah drew These Nineteen Years . I love it when art tells a story, and this story is both beautiful and moving.
ships_harry drew Ice cream on the ferry to Manly. The use of color (and humor!) here is absolutely gorgeous and brilliant.
lillithium drew Unrequited... GUH. Just... GUH. So tragic and wonderful and GUH.
aluinnsearlait drew Loose Ends, which isn't exactly work safe? But could be if you don't think anyone is looking :D. Anyway, this? Made my brain melt for a good 30 seconds.
a4_letter drew Intoxication, which is SO HYSTERICAL. H/D comics are teh best.

Also, be sure to check out Belle de Jour, the blog that inspired Femme to write her story.

gold_loewin drew The Ecstasies of Flying, Floating, and Falling, which is just gorgeous and absolutely hot: NOT work safe!
Non-Fest Fic
byblythe wrote Currency, which I ADORED. I spent most of a night when I was supposed to be working reading this instead, and I regret none of it :D. Blythe always pulls the reader into London like no one else can - I'd say the city is just as much a part of the story as Harry and Draco.
mistful has been updating Quality of Mercy again, which brings me so much joy!
persepolis wrote Reconciling Lily's Eyes, a Snarry that manages to mostly follow DH, except Snape is NOT DEAD, nor does he die at any time, which I MISS SO MUCH. Incredibly IC and honestly is just so old-school Snarry, I haven't read one this good in ages.
pushdragon wrote The Astronaut Phase, in which Ginny is off "doing something amazing and feminist and far, far away" and Harry falls in love with Draco.
