Draco dusted his shoulders off, annoyed that they still hadn't managed to come up with a completely clean option for the Floo Network, it was ridiculous, really. Still the little bit of annoyance was worth getting out of his own manor and into someone else's ( Read more... )

Pansy and Mil were laying out on her balcony. However, the floo network was connected downstairs, and she didn't hear him come in. Her house elf, however, knew she would be punished if she didn't greet a guest, and she hurried after Draco very quickly. She obviously was quite worried that she hadn't been there already.

"Master Malfoy," squeaked Nora, running behind him. "May I offer you a drink? Miss Pansy and Miss Bullstrode are on her balcony..."

Eyebrows raised, he looked down at the squeaky little thing. "Of course they are," Draco shook his head.

"Firewhiskey. Bring it up and be quick, would you?" He didn't actually care that it had taken its time to get there since it wasn't his to deal with. Without waiting for a response, he turned and headed up toward Pansy's room, not bothering with knocking.

"Your house elf is slacking, just so you know," Draco said when he was close enough to be heard without raising his voice.

"It would almost be easier to do it ourselves," Millicent said, sitting up right and lifting her sunglasses to greet Draco. After a moment she scoffed, finding even the idea of it ridiculous.

"Good to see you, Draco," she said after a moment, remembering her manors.

"But where's the fun in that?" he mused.

"Millicent," Draco nodded and crossed to lean against the railing. He turned to face the girls as he balanced against the rail. "What type of vaguely unsettling drama have you managed to cause so far? Anything intersting?"
