So, it happened again. I went online and sure enough, within an hour, the furries were acting up. I try so hard to think of a group of people that I dislike more than furries, and I only come up with Neo-Nazis and murderers, heck, I can even tolerate pageant moms and twilight fans more than I can tolerate furries...and you all know what I think

Being a furry artist myself, I have to say that this sort of...concerns me. It bothers me that people have given you such a hard time with the fandom. However, from what I've seen, there will ALWAYS be extremists in ANY fandom. Shit, there are extremists for gay rights, feminism, racial equality and free healthcare just as there are in Twilitards, WoW nerds and comic book artists. You're always going to encounter the jackasses who think their fandom is superior and they know everything about it and that everyone else in the world should join them

I am glad to know that. But I unfortunately keep putting up with the whiny ones that are always in your face for not being a furry and after a while, I get tired of it.

As a LARPer, I understand roleplay...and Furries...are NOT like that. At least the ones that I know of and put up with.

I take the degradation and bad rap that some people give the furry fandom because I enjoy being a part of the fandom for all of the good people, for all of the incredible artists and creativity that the overall community has to offer. I'm sure you could say the same for at least one of the fandoms that you're a part of, because not everyone in the world is going to like any given fandom.

If you derive your opinions solely from the few people you have encountered, then that's jumping the gun. I'm not telling you to change your opinions either, as stated in your edit. I'm sure you certainly don't expect me to change mine. Just trying to shed a little light on the situation.

Sure thing. I have nothing against you for being a part of the furry community, because you're family and I really appreciate your artwork. It's the people that try to force others into the fandom that I don't like. I used to draw some anthro art also, but I never put any up because I don't want to be mauled by people, lol.

And I totally understand what you're doing, and no, keep doing what you love, and I'll keep doing what I love.
