Oh, I love this story to pieces! Harry's journey from an apparently carefree boy to a truly happy and carefree boy is wonderful.

Also, Kitten!Harry and fluffy, funny with a tinge of h/c Drarry are all-time favourites of mine and together they are like an early birthday gift!

This Harry was truly adorable. He made me laugh and coo over him with all his amazing names - white flying cap person, Angry Freckles, Bossy Bushy, Scary Spectacles, Shiny Hair, Meaty Arms! - , his wide-eyed wonder, his naughtiness, his kitten confidence and seduction. And the sudden but oh-so spot on realisations made me ache - Harry didn't want to remember and he didn't want to be found, either, so he burrowed in the darkest corner he could find. The only light that reached him was the light seeping from under the edge of a door; the edge swirled and he was terribly alone, all by his helplessness as he waited, terrified, because he was forever lost. ...and also... It dawned on him that, most likely, no one had ever touched him like this before, held him ( ... )

I was definitely going for that which you mentioned and I'm happy some of it got through. I wanted Harry to face himself through his animagus self, which also granted him the time and space for experimentation and self acceptance he needed.

The sex scene, well, I'm a pervert at heart and I wanted Draco to get back at him for all the teasing, dominate him and all that. But I also wanted to keep it sweet, because it was about sex but it was also more than that. :D

This fic was absolutely amazing! I must have read it like 10 times already. I love how adorable kitten!Harry is, and the dynamic between him and Draco is really hilarious. Seriously, I think this is my favourite fic to come out of this fest this year! Really good job. :)

That was lovely, sweet, truly romantic, and occasionally got deeply sad without extensive angsting. I loved how Harry's animagus form gave him the possibility - and the realisation that he needs it so much! - to be free. The end of the story was, wow, extremely hot and in a way, kind of innocently kinky, what I've found positively delightful and very smart. Overall, this is a beautifully written, highly entertaining, funny and thoughtful fic, with wonderful magical solutions. Lovely!
