Also, what exactly does your first blogspot message mean? I can’t read Occitan.
I’ve seen the first episode of Bakemonogatari. Does the show become drastically different after the first episode? I thought the first episode was acceptable but nothing really stood out to me except the stapler-in-mouth routine and the idea of girls falling from the stairs. Hell, if the entire anime was about girls falling from glass spiral staircases, I would still be watching it.

Bakemonogatari is, in my opinion, easily the best anime series of the past decade. They say there's two basic types of otaku - the ones who like a good storyline, and the ones who like a good character design. Bakemonogatari has both, and that's pretty damned amazing. I guess I’ll give Bakemonogatari another shot then. I prefer the fucked up bizarreness of Soul Taker to Bakemonogatari (so far). But I liked Always my Santa so my taste in anime is questionable. Best (trashy) anime of the last decade?

Actually, I thought the girl’s apparent weightlessness could have represented that she simply does not exist: she is the main character’s fantasy. But I was proved wrong about ten minutes into the first episode.
