Maybe my quick once-over lost some of the detail...but last I checked, Disney owned Castle Dracula, and I doubt they're gonna be selling it, let alone for a dismal $1000. This is either a hoax or a terrible joke, like the Xbox 360 BOX that someone sold for a couple thousand. Not the system, just the box. He had it written all over the listing that it was just the cardboard he was selling, but the guy who won the auction still thought he was tricked and wanted his money back.

Uhh...ANY castle would be worth a whole heck of a lot more than $1000 American dollars. My guess is this person is either selling a scaled modle or it, or is running a joke.

you can check the link back later and see if it was pulled. There are some castles in Romania so I wasn't as surprised.

I think that's the wrong castle...

...but maybe he spent the night in it once...like Bran Castle. He allegedly spent some time at Hunedoara, which is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! and populated by a murder of ravens (unless murder only applies to crows...).

...maybe the picture's just at a different angle or something...

Castle Dracula is in ruins at the top of a big hill(...and apparently the aliens landed there or something at one point...we'll ignore that...) Though there have been "ghost sightings" there...by the relatives of Radu Florescu, Dracula researcher and one of the last in a long line of a family that apparently was enemies with Dracula (and possibly also related to him). Apparently the boys were camping there and never want to go back after seeing a "floating light." Earlier than the ghost sightings, an uncle of Florescu was hiking up the steep hill to get up to the castle, tripped, rolled down the hill a little ways, and ended up with an injury that actually caused his death. The family blames it on a curse.
