there was a shooting on my campus today (Northern Virginia Community College in Woodbridge Virginia). Appearently, the guy brought a rifle and tried to shoot a teacher. I wasn't on campus when that happened (it happened at 2:40 I left at 1:00).I didn't know anything until I went back at 4:30 to go to my PE class and the campus was on lockdown. No ( Read more... )

Whoa. That is some SCARY shit!

I think it's pathetic that no one noticed. That, and no one called the cops.

A person who uses a gun on another has no right to pick up a fork, IMO.

Ur right, lucky that there were no casualties. Missing from less than 10 feet... pure luck I think.
There hasn't been any shooting in my school (perhaps cause getting firearms is kinda hard here) but once a guy tossed a kind of military smoke candle containing poisonous gas into the ventilation shaft. Some schoolchildren had to go to a hospital after that, but the most escaped in time. The thing that sucks in our school is smoke detectors...
