Yeah, it sucks. I can't believe it passed either, and I'd like to see the demographic breakdown of why it passed. I'm betting strong support for it in southern California (LA area) and the countryside, as well as strong support from Latino (usually strongly religious) populations. :P

Yep, country hicks and religious fanatics. I didn't realize how odd Northern California was, and I was somewhat wrong about LA (although it was much closer down there) but blah.
