Every time I see a reference to that line from Emancipation where Jack is reminding Carter about "that time on P3X-595" where she "drank that stuff that made you take off…", I mentally fill in "YOUR HEAD." Because it's so obvious what the joke is going for, and I just really have to subvert it in some way ( Read more... )

Man, I'm sure there would be a way to make it serious. I mean, it's SG-1. Occasionally-serious application of crackfic concepts is kinda what they do. (Also, was that a challenge? :P )

...not that absurd might not be even more fun, of course.

...a MALP could actually be pretty terrifying, though mostly only if you'd never seen one before. Maybe if it was six feet tall and had a rocket attached to the back, or something. Or through judicious application of Silent Hill.
