I mentioned before that I was, at some point, going to do some Wolverine pages. In truth, I originally wanted to draw his old side-kick turned Whedon muse, Kitty Pryde:
Amazing work. The costume is a very cool homage and makes me wish the recent artists didn't ignore the fact that she has had extensive martial arts training including but not limited to katanas. To me Kitty Pryde has always felt like an approachable girl and you captured her soft rounded features perfectly.
I understand that your aim was to show that she is a woman and not a girl, and please do not take offense, but to me her mid section doesn't feel like that of a physically fit X-Man sans the side view. Is there a reason you made her back and stomach so wide?
