The real question is.. is either treatable?
If it is seizures.. do they have good anti seizure meds for a dog?
if it is cardiac.. are there meds for that too?
If not.. do you end up with a diagnosis but no treatment plan?
We were here 3 yrs ago when Rubicon had liver failure. We could have MRI and biopsy to confirm.. but all that would have given us was a diagnosis but no treatment. So we went with comfort the kitty but not anything else.
Best wishes to you all,
Alan

The big problem is that if it is neurologic, there's no way to be sure - so we would have to just wait and see and monitor him (There is no way I am paying for an MRI - to tell me that we still don't know anything).
The treatment plan would be either medication if it's cardiac (or other if the blood test tells us something else), or just wait and see if it happens again sort of thing.
His appointment with the cardiologist is on August 4th. Until then, the pups will get their outing when Paul gets home from work - so I can keep a better eye on Diddy.
