I had Isabella's 1st birthday party while in Meridian,MS for thanksgiving. I have never made a cake or icing from scratch and have never decorated a cake. However, I decided to make Isabella's 1st cake 100% by hand. Hours and shaky hands later, it was finished.

I LOVE IT!
I have to get up some pics of Arya's birthday party. I made over 100 cupcakes and decorated them all for Arya, so I know the whole shaky hands thing, haha

I have to get some of Isabella's party too. I used the video camera so i'm going to have to hook it up to the computer and take still shots.

and good luck, although I had a lot of fun, I am glad it's over. I was stressing the whole time hoping it came out okay and I didn't end up with no cake. lol
