It's looking like a real possibility to move during Christmas. Isadora's passport came in not long after we sent it out, like a week or so. We're going to Washington around Labor Day to the Swedish Embassy if Isadora and I get our papers back within a good time frame, then we're golden. I finished Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. I liked it. It was selection of quirky little stories, full of symbolism, and insights into the human psyche. I am feeling like crap today (mild food-poisoning perhaps?) and I've been in a major funk for a while. Creativity low, spirituality meter in the red, productivity abysmal. My mom came down yesterday, the moment I saw here I noticed something was really off with her hands, so I asked about it. Apparently a few days ago she was working outside and picked up something and it was covered in fire ants (there was a nest underneath), the ants attacked and so she has nasty bites and scars all over her hands. I have a problem Isadora has discovered that she can take off her diaper. Now this wouldn't be too bad if she couldn't get it off despite most clothes. Increasily I am finding her bare-assed in the crib, not a good thing. I am proud of her and all but I need to keep that butt in a diaper somehow.
