I need to get this off my chest.

I took Grathen and the kids to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last night. Well let me say this. If you have read the book and expected the movie to follow the books then you are sorely mistaken.

I just found out that my mom has Ductal Carcinoma. It is a form of Breast Cancer. Please pray/chant/ whatever it is you do for her in this time of wondering what is going to be. She is going to lose the breast but they don't know much more than that.

Insanity is ........

Trying to deal with hubby being gone for almost 2 years.
Agreeing to watch your stepsons for 3 days straight.
Trying to have a life when you have no truck.
Trying to have a life when all your friends are so far away.
Keeping kids from killing themselves while it is raining outside.

If you can't tell it has been a day.

I am alive. Dan is gone. My truck had an electrical fire. I am not happy about not seeing my husband for 1 1/2 years but I guess that I what I get for marrying a military guy.
