Frak you.
Do you only employ blind people to drive your buses?? Do they actually have legally recognised licenses??
Your countless negligent drivers are a serious danger on our roads.
Sincerely,
thankful to be alive after today.
A Transperth (Perth public transport) bus pulled onto High Rd from a side street on the right.... nearly into my drivers door. Swerved & floored it, hit the curb. No idea how he missed me. It was like the 2005 accident, minus traffic lights & with the bus on the right instead of the left.... & me in the driver's seat.
I kept going. I had to. If I'd stopped, I'd have never started again. He missed me though, so its not like I had to stop. But it means I can't report the stupid f*** coz I have no idea what the bus or route number was. I have a large, white commodore. & I drive with my headlights on. If he'd looked, he'd have seen me.
I pulled into the staff capark, turned the engine off & burst into shakes & tears, got a hold of myself by focusing on my phone & making a status about it. Walked into the building, up the stairs, put my stuff in my locker & felt another panic attack hitting so sat down in the staff room behind the lockers & cried a bit. Got a hold of myself again & went downstairs to my counter... but only lasted a couple of minutes before needing to rush into one of the beauty rooms (for specialist treatments like facials & microdermabrasion) with massive shakes & cried again. I'm sitting there with a tissue under my eyes going "f***, mascara. f***." & just kept focusing on that, trying to get control back.
I have some bloody awesome co-workers though - I was a complete mess at work, still having those godless panic attacks. The other girls covered my counter for me & Lexi, the girl at Clinique, went down to Coles & bought me chocolate to try calm me down, saying something about endorphins.
I'm mostly okay now. Shadow is curled up beside me & I have a stiff drink. While the drink wont help my mood, its relaxing still hellish muscles.
She's doing better. She's not fantastic, but she's drinking water & has purred a couple of times.
