So I quite possibly just did the worst thing yesterday…. I fell in love with a pair of shoes. I know, it’s not at all surprising that I’m looking at shoes considering the book I’m writing…. but normally I can browse quite safely with a good bonus to my will save. Oh man those are GORG. I love the pewter pair. I can't wear heels like that or I'd be ALL OVER THAT. If they came in flats or shortish wedges, I'd be having failing a will save check myself.

I can only wear them thanks to the platform. It shortens the effective heel... so 6" heels with a 3" platform are really only 3" heels. ^.^
I've thought about it wayyyy too much. I find platforms hurt me less anyway, or at least, well soled platforms. With a good rubber/cushioned sole below them, they are less hellish on my back. Though I still can't do a day on my feet in much more than flats (hush puppies or bust)
