A poll of sorts

So let's say that tomorrow morning the TARDIS appears in your front room/yard/whatever and the Doctor (who is whichever Doctor you like most) comes out and tells you he'll take you wherever and whenever you like as long as it's going back in human history. Because he needs to do it for plot-related reasons. It's a Christmas special or something.

Not to rip off Louis CK, but as an African American I think I'd go back to the 80s and enjoy the music and the wacky fashion. Anything before that and things get dodgy for me.

I think about that a lot. (Am a dork.) He's regarded the ultimate musical genius, so it'd be fun to see what (if anything) would make him go "Ooooh, why didn't I think of that?"
