greeksong (Duckpuppy) has drawn artwork for the Hermione/Draco drabble I wrote for her, both of which are behind the cut. It is most excellent and makes me want to write more *grins*

Happy Birthday, Hermione
“This one’s not signed?” Ron picked up one of the birthday cards and waggled it in front of Hermione. “Got some sort of secret admirer have you?” His sniggering was infectious and the gaggle of Gryffindors on either side of the breakfast table quickly joined in.
She snatched it back. “Unfortunately I don’t take Divination, so I can’t consult my Crystal Ball to find out.” It was placed with exaggerated care onto the pile of cards and her hand lingered on the image of little daffodils as she looked across the Great Hall.
Draco Malfoy was smirking at her and she could feel herself colour at the look.
Later, on her own, she picked up the card and under her hot hands a familiar scent seemed to come from it. It reminded her of clandestine meetings and secret kisses. Finally, she tapped the card with her wand, allowing words to creep across the surface as though being written by the sender.
