Don't be silly. As the assistant of Asuma, headmaster of the Kamisaid Academy of Magic, I have studied all forms of magic in the known world. Besides those who specialize in curses, few people have to rely on the spoken word to use magic, and of the ones who do, "reparo" is certainly not a spell.

I've never heard of Kamisaid Academy of Magic, and let me assure you, I'm quite well read. [oh, she is irritated.] I attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and I'm a prefect there. Or well, I was, but in any case, reparo is certainly a spell, and I'm quite capable of using it when something can be fixed. And I'm not just using a word, I'm using my wand as well, of course.
