I like Matt Smith as the Doctor...and I think Vincent and the Doctor was one of the best episodes ever. But that's me.

I really liked Vincent and the Doctor, I'm rewatching the season because I am still not sure if I love it or not.

I haven't seen the entire season yet, so my impression is preliminary at best. I don't hate Matt Smith's Doctor, but I haven't found that special something that makes me love each Doctor (except for Colin Baker, who just irritated the hell out of me by existing). Of the episodes I've seen so far, most of the endings are wrapped up too neatly, too quickly. It's like the Doctor gets to wave his magic wand and smile his magic smile and people get along and everything wrong is okay again. And that is a bit disappointing in Dr Who. But I'll still watch any chance I get!
