Sabre is back at the vets. I've been telling them for weeks that he isn't right but seems it took a ketoacidic shock reaction before they bloody took notice! So my boy has diabetes on top of all his other health problems. Last report had his glucose level down from 31 to 20 and although he is much brighter and happier he couldn't stand this morning

Awww... I'm so sorry... I know very well what it's like to have your baby hurt like that. Don't listen to anyone else! Sabre is your baby and you know - FEEL deep inside what's best for him!

I'm sorry to hear that Sabre has run into new health problems.

As pet parents, we can often sense when something is 'off' about our fur children long before even the best of vets can figure out what's wrong. And sometimes our vets literally don't know which direction to look for that problem until it dramatically presents itself. The same thing happens in human patients all the time, yet they have the advantage of being able to use a much larger vocabulary to tell their physicians how they're ailing.
