Going Home (It's about time)

Fifty two weeks ago, I arrived on the Ice.
Fifty three weeks ago, I left home.
Today, I finally leave.

At 2 o'clock today, I board a C-17 Air National Gaurd cargo jet and fly back to Christchurch.  I've spent the last year working 60 hour weeks in a place without trees and, for many months, without any sun.
