Concert on Thursday
Jeff and I will be playing in the Wind Ensemble concert at Warner Pacific College on Thursday (Dec. 4th) at 7:30 pm.
We'll be in the McGuire Auditorium, and the campus is at 68th and Division. If anyone is interested in coming, we'd love to see you there. =-D -

I'm laughing because my "Fresh Tortillas" are "Celebrating 26 years of freshness" and because my "Authentic Mexican Tortilla Chips" are from Texas. -

Staying up late

Brussells, Turkeys, Flutes, and Tuxes
It's interesting how different foods can taste really good or really bad depending on how well you prepare them. Take brussel sprouts, for instance. I used to hate brussels. Bah
It's annoying to learn that I have been playing incorrectly, or at least inefficiently, for the last 15 years after looking up some practice techniques online. My normal embouchure is definitely not the recommended one, which explains why my range and endurance haven't been as good as they could have been. A new website
Found a new website to check out. It's a photo news blog on the Boston Globe website called The Big Picture. One of my friends posted a link because of the really cool Antarctica photos. A few days later, they also had some really cool microscopic photography pictures. It's worth glancing at. -
Good book
I don't know how many times I think about writing in my blog...and then don't. Part of it's because I know that I tend to be verbose and that instead of quick, simple posts, I just tend to keep writing and writing. Oh, well. I'm blogging again now.
