ELK!

Took my dog out just now and was looking around at all the pretty frosty scenes - then happened to look across the road and saw the herd of elk!! So cool. Took some nicer pics on my digital camera, but don't have time for editing at the moment. But I do have a fuzzy cell phone pic to share. LOL

A herd of elk? Man, that is so cool. I get excited just seeing a couple of deer. XD Also, regardless of fuzz, that looks like a stunning view - can't wait to see the digicam photos.

Totally agree with you - I love seeing deer, at least as long as they're not running right in front of your vehicle. ;D The elk come around a few times a year and it is always such a thrill. Will try to be good and actually edit and post photos this week. ^__^

Holy cow! (er.. elk!) That's amazing! I can't imagine seeing those up close like that. You have such amazing sights up there.

LOL! Well, I think you could still say that - pretty sure it's bull and cow elk. ;D (Which I've always found weird, since they're related to deer. It should be buck and doe!)

It is absolutely amazing. They've been coming by randomly for...four years? And it's still such a thrill! Will have better pictures to share soon. :D

That's very neat! Definitely an added bonus to any trip. LOL, I can imagine! They're big enough they're not overly bothered by stuff. ^__^
