So, today was a whole lot better than yesterday.

Started out waking up at around seven to go to breakfast. We were a lottle confused about the whole thing as we weren't sure if we were supposed to wait for the whole group or not, but Shannon and I decided not to, so we just kind of went. Along the way we were joined by Pam, and together the three of us managed to find our way to the cafeteria where we would be provided with sustenance for our first day of classes. We ate chocolate coissants (sp?) and other types of pastry, as well as yogurt and juice. After that we were going to go to our class, but we didn't really know how to get there, so the teachers told us to wait until they brought everyone. Which they didn't, so as soon as the teachers started to leave, we just kind of followed them like stalkers. Outside of the classroom doors we weren't sure if we should go in or not, and we ended up talking about what we would do if we walked in and the teachers were going at it. So that kind of left us laughing. :p
Then we went into class - me and Shannon in 107, Pam into 108 - and proceded to have our first class. Ugh. I really wish they hadn't cancelled the history course. History is mainly just learning, and that's the part of school that I love. I really do love to learn. But ETS involves analysing things and whatnot, and I'm pretty bad at that. Anyway, basically I have a fair amount of homework to do tonight, so that's what I'll be doing after I'm done here.
Class went from 9:00 - 10:30 and after a break 10:40 - 12:15. Break for lunch and finishing up 1:00 - 2:30. None of the three of us had money so we had to go back to our rooms, and by the time we had done that and gotten back to the Arts Millenium building, it was 12:55ish, so we didn't really have time to eat. After telling Pam we'd wait for her after class was over, we went back up and finished. It turns out I really was supposed to have my own books, but it works out ok because I have a copy of The Dubliners and the play we're doing is only a one act that we all were given a photocopy version of. For my ISU I was going to do The Luck of Ginger Coffey but I didn't have a copy and Shannon has a copy of A portrait of the Artist as a Young Man which she doesn't need because she's in gr.11 english, so I'm borrowing that from her. It also works out because now all the ETS students are doing Portrait, so yah.

After class was over and we had fetched our cameras and money and whatnot, we took the shottle bus into downtown so we could get some food. We were so confused when we got of the bus though, because it doesn't stop in downtown, it stops, like, on the outside of downtown but directly aross from where you would be if you walked. Anyway, then we had to find a bank so that Pam could get some cash, and that took us a little bit. We played Dodge Traffic, which we concluded should be a new form of entertainment. Then we ended up just wandering around trying to find somewhere to eat that wasn't crowded, too expensive, or too "sitdowny"/pubby. We ended up just going back to Elle's Cafe 'cause we were at least kind of familliar with it. I had an orange soda and a clud bagel. It was more toasted than I normally prefer, but it was actually pretty good. I had the craving for iced coffee too, but sadly no. Our plan was then to catch the 4:30 (I think) bus back to Corrib Village so we'd be on time for supper (yep, food to food - what's the problem? :b) but we could not find our way back to the bus station, and it was getting close to where we would miss it anyway. Pam and I got distracted by a store we were walking by too, so we decided we'd just go in, look around and then see if we could catch the 5:00 bus. The place was pretty cool. It was kind of like an EarthWinds type store, but only clothes and jewellry really. I bought a wraparound skirt that's a really pretty dark blue/purple/indigo tye-dye. I also bought a pair of drawstring patchwork pant (yes, I'm that cool) that I've wanted for so long. Pam bought a skirt and a top, and Shannon bought a skirt and a scarf. We were all pretty pleased.
When we got out, we figured since we didn't know how to get back to the bus, we'd just walk back and go straight to supper. We got there at around 5:15, and it's a good thing we had chosen not to go back to our rooms first as we got to dinner pretty much with everyone else. We chose a table by ourselves and waited around for the buffet to be open. We talked about...stuff. I don't really remember, we just talking about a lot of stuff, like we had been talking about on our walk back. When supper was served, we went up to get it and when we got back to our table, two of the guys (the cooler ones though) had sat there too. After a bit of fiddling, we worked it out so that the five of us could sit there reasonably comfortably. The three of us girls were pretty hyper and laughing a lot. We ended up trying to make orange juice by sticking a chunk of an orange into the water pitcher and squishing it with a spoon. It didn't really work. After a while, the two guys (Elliot and...crap! I don't remember :S ) left, and it was pretty much just the three of us left from our whole group, as most everyone else had gone off downtown. We called Naimh over and signed out and then went off back to our room, stopping along the way to take pictures of random countryside and whatnot. And our apartment building. And our room. We decided at some point that we need to get a picture of the three of us all decked out in our new garb. wOOt.

Anyway, pretty much that brings us up to here, where I will be starting my homework >_< so I don't fail miserably.
