I was almost late with the missions we had this week for the Xsquad.
One of them was to write about you as a mutant. I also wrote a poem based on my character, another assignment.

My mutant name is Drako [as in the dragon star constellation]. My costume is dark green with a scaled looking ridge (like a dragon) down my back and arms. There is also a pattern of stars along of legs/boots and gloves. My powers include flight (like a dragon) as well as being to send sparks ("stars") from my fingers. And this is my story.

My mother, a normal human, met my father during their teenage years. He came from a long line of mutants, all of us with similar powers and at the time of their meeting, he went to Xavier's school for mutants. The first time they laid eyes on each other was at a trip to the museum, which they both attend with their schools. According to my parents, it was love at first sight. According to my aunt, it was tonsil hockey at first sight! My father kept his powers a secret all the time they dated, he didn't even tell her when they moved in together. However, after proposing, he could no longer keep it a secret. Little did he know that my mother knew he was a mutant all along - it's hard to keep a secret like that with a younger sister (my aunt) that thinks flying is the only way to go (and she didn't mean by plane!). Also, my mother would catch my father cleaning the cobwebs on the ceiling ... hovering a several centimeters off the floor! As most of my family, I attended Xavier's school and always dreamed of being an Xman like my dad's awesome cousin Gambit.

And what's yours?
