We're dissecting fetal pigs for bio right now and even though I did that already during summer school, I still can't get over the smell of it all. I'm not someone who's afraid of blood and gore (seriously, I'm a girl. What kind of jerk takes the gloves and lets the third partner do all the work sans gloves?? It makes me ill just thinking about it. We dissected squids in bio my freshman year. I refused to touch it, and so my friend did all the cutting and stabbing. Touching dead things creeps me out, although in the case of squid touching a live one would creep me out, too.

I know, right? I mean, even when I asked them for the gloves because I was slicing up intestines of a dead fetal pig here, they were all "but I want to wear the gloves!" *glowers*

Ick, squids. I don't know how I would feel about that, seeing as it wouldn't smell quite like the fetal pig, but it'll probably be all slimy and oozy. *shudders*

O________O YUCK. Why on earth did they take the gloves if they were going to have you do the work? And why did the teacher only give you two pairs of gloves to begin with?

I don't know! I hate them and I hate pigs! Argh. They better not steal the gloves again for tomorrow, or else I really will snap and kill them.

We were actually one of the "luckier" groups as we didn't have enough gloves (for some reason, you'd think dissecting pigs takes priority over anything else you'd do in a school that requires gloves), as most groups only got one pair. Damn, I hate bio right now.
