It's on the list!
And it may very well be during/post Joining, because Grey Wardens have that legendary stamina and I bet Orsino wouldn't even know what to do with it at this point.

This is part of the Silver and Scarlet series, as archived on tannufilling.

"Orsino," Tannusen paused, fixing the former First Enchanter with a serious look, "from the moment the Joining chalice touches your lips, you are forever a Grey Warden. If the process should kill you, you will die as a Warden. There is a measure of honor in that, higher than any templar's execution strike. I'm afraid that's all I can guarantee you."
Anything more would come if the older mage did survive the Joining. And though his odds weren't good at his age, they were the best odds he could give the other man. Turned loose, he would be hunted as a malificar until he was cornered enough to once again reach for blood magic; given over to Greagoir and he would be executed or shut away in Aeonar to rot.
Here, at least, was a painful but quick death, with the slim chance of survival and purpose. Even a bit of autonomy, which Tannusen could easily wager that Orsino had never experienced

As it turned out, no one had to come tell Tannusen when Orsino woke up. He was already there, sitting beside the older mage's cot, thumbing through a book. Orsino's instant hunger struck him almost like a physical blow, but he'd been prepared for that as well.
"There's food on the table beside you," he said, watching the new Warden's eyes open. Orsino didn't seem to be mad, at least, and his attention quickly settled on the food. The mage was quick to sit up and pull the tray from the bedside table and onto his lap, not even hesitating at how there was more on that tray than most non-Wardens could even conceive of wolfing down
