I expect this to be pretty dark and triggering, so readers beware and all that stuff. Predicting dub-con, probably closer to non- than I usually let it get, Domination/submission, bondage, and sadism. Probably more by the end if I manage to finish it, but I'll list any others at the end for the linkers.

"It feels... good?" the thrall tried, though he had to gasp in a shallow breath mid-way through the sentence, as Fenris began to bob his head, his cheeks hollowed with suction and his eyes gleaming with an almost hostile intensity. A pity the boy couldn't see it, arched like he was... Fenris had truly gorgeous eyes, and they were simply stunning when he was being aggressive.
"You can do so much better than that, little skylark," Danarius scolded, rising from his seat and approaching, enjoying the brief look of apprehension on the thrall's face. Good, he should be wary when he made a mistake. "In detail, if you please. Describe how what he is doing to you feels. Are his lips soft? Tight? Is his tongue hot? Is it pressing just so?" The magister ran a fingertip down the smooth column of the thrall's arched throat, lowering his voice, "...How does it feel whenever you slide into the back of his throat, hm

Above!Anon, who is Not!OP, is up for just about anything. I'm really enjoying your evil Danarus. He's terrifyingly addictive. I "like" him better than Uldred. And this competition he has set up between them? GAH! It's brilliant!

Yeah, Danarius is kind of what I turned Uldred into a milder, Circle-constrained version of... long before we had DA2. I may have just figured out a way to use Danarius instead if I'd started S&S after we knew about him.
As it is I've decided Uldred isn't as good at wiping memory on cue as Danarius, who we know in canon has done it deliberately to Fenris (it wasn't just pain from his markings). :3 So Uldred needs the help of an expert from "out of town".
My version of Uldred stays in the Circle because he has power there. If he ran off to Tevinter, he'd have to start off at the bottom of the power ladder. And I don't think he has the raw magical force of a magister anyway, so he'd never climb particularly high.
Danarius meanwhile uses the little shit as an information source and probably for smuggling crap and stuff like that *jazz hands*. Uldred's in charge of rooting out blood mages in the Fereldan Circle, I'm sure he has some value as a pawn.

See, this is why I love this site; Getting to hear the author's view and idea as they're writing? Totally awesome! It's really interesting to see where you are coming from and getting additional insights to your characters.
Uldred as a big fish in a little pond describes him perfectly. And he knows it, which leads to his "fall" later on. He's evil, but it's more just evil-evil. Danarius, on the other hand, is deliciously evil. He's got that smooth-thing going on, and he does it so well.
But I still wouldn't want to meet either one in a dark alley!
*You know, this story is beginning to pull me back from my Harry Potter fanfiction fixation I've been on for the last year.
*Oh, Captcha, what would we do without you? "erictif streams"? Someone's hoping for some good stuff in the next update, aren't they?

"There's no need to hide your pain, sweet skylark," Danarius crooned, still stroking, "it makes me burn so. And you owe me a description," he slowed his hand, squeezing harder, his grip slicked by Fenris' earlier work. "Tell me how this feels, you lovely creature. Sing for me."
"It hurts," the boy gasped, his eyes wide. "It's t-too much, Master please--"
"Hm?" the magister prompted, his free hand slipping finally to the ties of his own clothing, parting the exotic silks of his robes and drawing himself free. It was gratifying to see the thrall's eyes widen, a little, as he finally got a glimpse of his Master's cock. A little bit of magic and a few dead slaves had, many years ago, enhanced Danarius, because what was a man's cock if not the symbol of his power

You are such a TEASE! You are ending each of these sections at just the right place to leave me aching for more.
I'd say I hate you, but you know I'd be lying.
Danarius using blood magic to "enhance" himself is one of those things that I've never thought of before, but sounds absolutely believable. I think I have to head cannon that now.
Not that I sit around thinking about things like that... o.k. I totally do, but that's beside the point.

Hmmm...this chapter got me wondering: what would slave-Fenris even do with a thrall if he got one?
Part of me thinks that he would ignore him. Why waste time and energy on something that he wasn't ordered to do? Although he gets erections, and is capable of coming, he may not get any pleasure out of it. It could be just another duty, to him.
Part of me thinks he would take advantage of the situation. I imagine being Danarius' slave for so long, he probably wouldn't understand the concept of consent. He may treat his thrall as a source of pleasure, but not actively try to hurt him.
Or (a small possibility) he might enjoy hurting Tannusen. The whole "cycle of abuse" thing. Danarius hurts him, so he hurts others.

Writerface is pleased to have sparked interesting thoughts, although I certainly don't have the answer either. :D
I think it would depend most on how one sees the Danarius/Fenris dynamic. Like, we know a few things for certain about how things went, but most of the specifics are open to interpretation.
For all we know he'd do all three, given enough time, depending on how he was being treated himself. With no memory of any normal ways of dealing with people, still-a-slave Fenris has a very limited idea of how things "should" be.
Basically folks wanted more along the lines of that little bit in Black Black Heart ( http://dragonage-kink.livejournal.com/7357.html?thread=26015421#t26015421 ). So here's a spot for me to throw it.
