what the hell, I might as well post before the end of the known world. made it home from work ok. thank gods for 4-wheel drive in places. it seems the yuppie Knoxville crowd downtown fell victim very quickly. thankfully, nobody wants to deal w/ a collection agency, including zombies, it seems. the downstairs office got hit pretty hard, close to the ( Read more... )

I keep forgetting, you're out in rural country in the middle of nowhere. haven't you heard? it's The Happening/Andromeda Strain/I Am Legend all over again, but real time. major cities and population centers are being overrun by zombies as we speak this fine Friday the 13th! :) good luck my friend. it's only a matter of time until they reach your door too. barricade yourself inside, and pray. be sure you stock up on food and supplies, and don't forget the zombie-killing weaponry. maybe you can wait it out too. ::hugs::

I was able to get to Sherri in time to see her knocking the head off her boss Don Payne because he had been turned. The happy look on her face was priceless. :-)
Picked up the animals from home and drove to her grandmothers place which is out in BFE and barricaded ourselves in. She has lots of guns, ammo and food so we are set.
