what the fuck is it with people naming their kids all kinds of screwed up crap btw?? over the years, I've seen it all, from normalish hippy crap like Summer Rain, Autumn Blaize, Storm Cloud, etc. they're kinda cutesy, but really kinda pretty too. not all that bad when you get right down to it

I saw a thing the other day were a mother was suing the school board in some community out west because the teachers "refused to pronounce her daughter's name correctly."

The girl's name was spelled (and I kid you not) "A-ha." But apparently, it was pronounced "aDASHha" instead or Adesha or some other NORMAL spelling. People like that need to be shot. Not the kid. The Parent.

Actually Dorcas is a very old name. I had a great aunt Dorcas who passed away when I was 7. In that case, I suppose it was a fimly named passed down.
