Just because people accept you, does it mean that you belong? Or that you are supposed to be doing what you're doing now? I wait tables, but I don't feel I'm supposed to. I live in the U.S., but I don't feel like it's where I belong. But, I feel I belong with the people I call my friends. But how can that be? How can I belong with my friends, but ( Read more... )

I keep my heart in New Jersey and my soul in New Mexico. A state of belonging is relative to the person. If he doesn't feel he belongs, then he should try to be somewhere else. As for home, my home is in New Jersey, I just live in a different house down here.
