It's not shipping that's looked down on, though; it's the people who get way too into it and take it too seriously and act like complete psychos. Your average noncrazy shipper is just fine.

I totally agree! I've run into a lot of people though, who think shipping is entirely composed of the former D:

You'll have to explain what a "shipper" is cause I'm think person who ships stuff but maybe I'm THAT out of the loop of fandom. Then again I was never really in the loop when I ran a club, sort of like the sign in the middle of a 4 ways stop light, I just gave directions.

I like the character though, I think the designs rather interesting, maybe a little more development into the face might help.

In a nutshell, shipping is a common fandom activity where a fan fans over a particular pairing of characters, canon or not, and then does lots of fan activity revolving around this "ship".
