Hey, I was just curious if you guys (Espically Dave, Ed, Jon, or Cavin) have heard of the books Power-Up:How Japanese Video Games Gave the World an Extra Life and The Ultimate History of Video Games: From Pong to Pokemon--The Story Behind the Craze That Touched Our Lives and Changed the World. If so how good and interesting are they supposed to be

Yeah, the author posts there, so I guess it would get a recommendation from me. Haven't read it myself, but the buzz seems to be positive.

Never heard of them, but both seem good, especially the book with the interviews. Take it from someone who's looked: good interviews with Japanese game designers are notoriously difficult to find. :) I'd want to read both, personally.
