My MP3 player came today!! It is beautiful. I am just putting 740 songs into it now, that should entertain me for a little while. I also downloaded a lewis black video just for the purpose of testing out the video feature. So far everything seems chill with it but the touch pad is extremely sensitive. Hooray for not getting an iPod.

I read tons of reviews and specs on both of them before I made my decision. I have nothing against getting an iPod, it just seems like for this generation of MP3 players the creative Zen vision is just a litte bit beter.

It has twice as long battery life for videos, and I think like 4 times as many colors. It has an FM radio with a record feature, and a microphone too. It also plays more movie types so that is a plus. The ipod just looks cooler though and has a ton more accesories too. It was a hard choice, but I am happy.

What upsets me most about the iPod, and maybe I'm wrong now, is the whole .aaf spiel. I hate it when a company tells me what file format the device needs to use. I do agree that the iPod is very sexy and more mainstream (hence, more accesories), but I just can't get past .aaf.

Actually, what I mean is that I don't like that you have to convert files to .aaf, a license-based audio format (I think) whereas .mp3s have no copy protection, so to speak.
