"Not every kitchen needs an island." HAHAHAHAHAHA no they don't! I am sorry you aren't getting far with the house hunting. I WISH I was still living in a house but I doubt that will ever happen again. If so, it will be rented and when we are retired. And I don't want an island anywhere in any room. ;)

Renting isn't bad. I just want a workshop and a yard and no neighbors pounding on the floor above our heads.

yeah, pretty much the same here. And no brother in law which hopefully is in the works....

We're avoiding our brother in law as well. He's an addict, unnecessarily so. He had help all the way, family, amazing friends, all trying to reach to him, but in the end we became enablers and so we stepped back from the train wreck that he seemed proud to be on.
