Our housing association arranged for us to have cavity wall insulation. Now, we didn't really need to have this done but okay, it was free. And we didn't have any choice either because it was mandatory. We have put up with it. But they have made such a horrible, hideous, messy job that the entire house is going to have to be repainted. You should. I ought to get it on DVD so we can have a marathon some time. But I have so much stuff I need to get on DVD in order to marathon *sigh* So many DVDs, so little time/money/everything.

We could hire our Pastor but he's really strapped for cash (our church is tiny so he doesn't really get a living income from that, he has to take on other jobs just to keep his head above water) so we'd have to pay him. Obviously he wouldn't charge us as much as just anybody so it may be the best thing to do.

Ugh, that's ridiculous. What a bummer. :/ Instead of hiring people to paint, could you perhaps call in favors from friends or neighbors to help you and your mom paint the house wall by wall?

Hopefully we'll be able to get people we know to help, but we'll still need to pay them! We can't just let people do work for us for nothing, we've accepted so much free stuff of late it just feels bad :p Besides, we don't have the equipment necessary for full-scale painting of the exterior of a house!
