My university day school has been cancelled because some far-right fascist skinhead group are having a demonstration and apparently, when they've demonstrated before, it's got violent. They're demonstrating right between the train station and the university

It was so scary, I am so lucky to not really see 'proper' racism in Eastbourne - by that, I mean that we don't really get racist violence, though there are the usual middle-England, Daily Mail attitudes.

Living in a white working class area sucks so much D: The racism and stupidity can be pretty overwhelmingly, well, stupid here. Generally the nicer towns around and about are more friendly and cosmopolitan cos they're filled with educated people. Bradford and Keighley, however, along with places like Wakefield and many of Leeds' suburbs, are pretty horrendous in terms of racism. Some Bradford schools have out-and-out war. I wish I was exaggerating D:
