It's official!

My acceptance letter into the Surgical Technology Program came in the mail not 20 minutes ago. I now have the paper reserving my spot signed, dated and enveloped and I'll be dropping it off in a mailbox on the way to work tonight.

Woooohoooo...congrats hun!!! Come spring semester you can be like me and utterly unable to discuss what you're doing because NO ONE will want to hear it!!! :D This job just squicks most people...which I find highly amusing.

Ooooooooo and telling stories is a great way of annoying (or grossing out) siblings and making them go away.

Actually I already do that with lab stories. Plus, I have sisters (a nursing student doing clinicals and a veterinarian who also teaches a college anatomy course) who join in the fun of grossing everyone else out. It's great for holidays, birthdays, and any family get-together, really.

Hmmmmm, that ruins some of the fun lol. Still depending on what branch of nursing the sister goes into you should always be able to trump her (unless she ends up in surgery too)...the vet though, well that could be a tough competition!
