I have checked LJ almost every day this semester, and yet I haven't actually posted since I announced I was moving up to Lansing. Back in August. Now that I think of it, I don't think I've actually seen more than 5 of my Lansing friends outside the 812 Halloween party in that time. I will be signing my lease and receiving keys on Monday at 10:00 am. I'll be in walking distance to school (on a good day), and right by 496 on S. Pennsylvania. YAAAAAY! :)

I am going to go on record and say that I am not ashamed of the roads I've traveled, nor do I see any limit to what is in front of me. I sure as hell don't see any problem with getting my "community college education" or with starting on that path in my late 20's/early 30's. So the last few weeks I've been fighting off a combination of anger, apathy and depression over the fact that I didn't get in to the Surgical Technology program for this coming fall. I know it just means I have to wait one more year, and I know that it's not anybody's fault. Still, I feel just a little bit cheated considering the work that I put in ( Read more... )

I feel bad about this.  No way did I think we would have so many qualified applicants for this fall.  The only thing I can tell you is that I have you on a list with about 10 other persons waiting to see if someone drops from the program;  It is not likely, but if a seat opens up and you qualify, I will contact you.  You are a very bright ( Read more... )
