Those are amazing items. I always find your projects inspiring and awesome.
I have Harmony tips too. I use the key plus a little rubber "grabber" pad that came with my Boye interchangeable set. I have not had any tips come unscrewed when using that method, though sometimes I wonder if I'm building up damage to the threads that will bite me a few years down the road. So far, so good.
The grabber from the Boye set is just like one of those round rubber pads you can find in the kitchenware section of stores to open jars and such; it's just smaller. It makes tightening the wooden tips a lot easier, because it grabs the metal on the butt of the needle tip (when I try to just use my fingers I slip too much). Also, I don't have to resort to twisting on the wooden part (where my gription is better with my fingers).
Huzzah! What elegant design, what a superlative garment! I'm really glad you modeled it; while the laid-out version is blow-you-away impressive, it radiates the awesome in a whole new way when it's on a body. What brilliant fitting!
A shame about the Shine. How square to put so much into a sweater to have the yarn crap out on ya.
