Here's an interesting fact I learned today:

Your nose is set to a 90-minute cycle, where one nostril is closed off, and you breathe primarily through the other one. Then, at the end of the cycle, they switch. Weird, right?

Speaking of cycles, I think I have jet lag. Last night I lay in bed until about 7 this morning, and then started falling

if that's true, then why does it always suck so much when one nostril is plugged up when you have a cold? it sucks for much longer than 90 minutes.

Because you don't breathe totally through the other nostril- some air still comes in through the blocked-off one. Except if your nose is clogged, which will make you want to throw your nose off a bridge.
