Dawwww, poor you, you must be feeling really wretched!

You must come over and visit me and Ernie, we might not be as flaming good company but Ernie does quite a good barber queue!

Well I'm feeling much more chipper now this thing has crackled into life again!

I reckon a day communing with nature could be just what the mediwitch ordered. And your company is enough to make my sadness vanish with a puff of smoke! Which as I recall was what happened to the steaks at Ernie's last barbecue. Them and most of his eyebrows

Just let me know when would suit, and I'll pop round!

Hello there Toyah.

Dragons aren't really meant to be ridden. They either let you or they don't. I was very fortunate to be allowed to ride one special dragon called Maggie for a short while.

Now she's got a baby dragon to look after and a companion who is less than tame, I reckon my days of dragon riding are over.

But if you like them, I'd love to let you see them one day. They're lovely creatures, and actually all the better for being their usual wild selves.

Valerius and Padma know the way in, so you could ask one of them to bring you next time they're around this neck of the woods!

A whatnot is a sort of stand with shelves for ornaments. And a thingummy is a kind of dance. A jig in fact. So I was saying I felt like an ornamental extra at a dance. Its an old saying round these parts. Blimey I hope that worked

That would be very good! Thank you very much, I will ask my brother if I am permettid.
Did you know that dragon blood is used in a lot of potions? It has healing proparties, and also dark and it uses coper instead of iron to carry the oxygin. Can you get some for me?

That saying is silly. It does not make any sence becase sometimes, at a dance, there can be ornamental shelfs in the room. I have a better one. In Italia we say - as usefull as a horse in Venezia. Becase the horse, it will have nowere to go and it drowned.

Yeah that would be best. I'm sure if you are with him or Padma it will be fine.

As it goes, I do know about dragon blood and potions. In fact, being a magical beast, they end up providing ingredients in more than one way. Just as Professor Sprout about that! I really hope you meant dark as in colour and not...

As for the saying, well most of them are nonsense, aren't they? Because although you get shelves in the room, they don't add much to the fun of the dance.

Then again, there's loads of horses in Venice. And they have a fair amount of copper running through them too. Don't believe me? Go to the Piazza San Marco and look up!
