It's kind of to the point of how uncomfortable do I need to be before anything changes ( Read more... )

*pats*

I know what you mean. It's lonely out here, too. Although I've got school to keep me busy, Peta's been taking it hard. It helps to know we'll be back in Squamish in the fall, but that's a long way away right now.

Most of life seems to be about holding on until something else happens/finishes.

Yeah, well when I change jobs I'll be able to WOW more often and play with Peta! Heh...

But thanks for your support, I'm looking forward to seeing you more often in the fall!

Yeah.. I'm still around... And I've been meaning to call you, dammit! Everytime I turn around the weekend is over and I missed my chance to call you for ANOTHER week... >_<

But yeah, a volunteer position would be super for the Nanaimo club show! I need to actually go in the morning to see ALL the breeds and if I have something to do I can get there on my own. *is bad*

You're right about the size of Nanaimo, it's really just that perfect size. And I love all the acreage around the town so getting to the "country" isn't a huge endeavor. That and I just like Vancouver Island. I can't put it into words, but it's just nice.

Good for you on the BoS! You're one smart cookie there's no reason you should limit yourself! I think I'm still going to go to an AHT course. But I want to head east so I can immerse myself in the dog world there a bit more. I love west, but let's face it, alot more happens in the east. Population density and all that.

That Kamloops course is REALLY competitive too it seems. A little intimidating for me. Heh.

Indeed; I was hoping you were okay. No Dragonette comments makes for an worried dragon. Bad you! *playful whap* No cookie.

And YAY to the idea of pup and own place! Any idea what you would want? Is there a preferred pup-pup just waiting to become the cuddle of the Rina?

Good to see you back,
-A

Yeah... Sorry about that. I've wanted to chat with you, I peek on WOW from time to time but I never see you! ;_; Bad timming be dammed! And like I said I don't want to comment like... A week later.

No deffinate choice yet. That's why I want to hit as many shows on as many days as I can right now. I want to see my short list of breeds in person and as many examples as I can. Currently my short list for my (first) dog is Pembroke Corgi, Cardigan Corgi (I love them both!), Basenji, American Eskimo Dog (Standard) and Shiba Inu. They're all small-medium size dogs. Easily portable because I'm probably going to be a bit on the move these next few years... And besides, this way I don't have to buy/rent/lease a minivan to hold her! I DO love toy breeds but honestly, I want a dog that won't be bait for an eagle. Little dogs are just that extra amount of supervision/work. My Sheltie Missy was a good size. Fat, but a good size.

Thanks for your support! ^_~

LOL Ah, the labradoodles. I have nothing against the dogs. I'm just against the breeders who put a Lab and a Poodle together and demand top dollar.

Cute little curly-fluff-balls though!

Oh you picked all dogs I love. (Except the Corgi. NOT a fan. lol) All of them are nothern breeds and they're going to be hard as hell to train. They're also all very temprimental and need TONS of socialisation. (Excluding the Corgi -dont know much about them-)

Bernadette used to breed Basenji's you might want to talk to her about them. Im sure she'll be at the NKC show.

Personally I want another Pomerainan at some time in my life. God I love those little fuff balls, so much attitude.

Awww... Poor Corgi. I love them, when I was growing up on the boat one of the families with kids around my age had one. And another terrier mix. I have a lot of good memories with that dog.. I also love the Sweedish Vallhund

Basenji's are actually African hunting dogs! But that's awesome that Bernadette used to breed them, I'd LOVE to talk about them with her. I only remember her with her Berners!

But yes, they're all going to be hard to train, but they have something else that I value in my choice. Independence. I shouldn't have a dog that needs constant attention until my life is settled enough to provide it.

God. I love Poms. *snuggles her Early-Earl* They're the biggest little dogs ever.

She breed them before I met her. When I did meet her she only had one Basenji left. Man could that little thing jump though.
