So... My company laid me off / fired me without prejudice. This complicated things a bit. I'll post something better later.

Chances have risen to about 90% in favor of me coming home in April.

thanks! It looks like I'll be definitely coming home. I don't want to sign another year contract, so that leaves me no other option. It sucks to have to find another job again though...
