"You've got to give kids really beautiful children's books in order to turn them into revolutionaries. Because if they see these beautiful things when they're young, when they grow up, they'll see the real world and say, 'Why is the world so ugly?! I remember when the world was beautiful.' "The world is niether fair nor unfair,
the idea's just a way for us to understand,
but the world is neither fair nor unfair.
So one survives the others die,
you always want a reason why.
The world is neither just nor unjust,
it's just us trying to feel that there's some sense in it."

I close my eyes when I get too sad
I think thoughts that I know are bad
Close my eyes and I count to ten
Hope it's over when I open them

I want the things that I had before
Like a Star Wars poster on my bedroom door
I wish I could count to ten
And make everything be wonderful again

life is a diamond, at first surrounded by the coal,
it takes more than words,
more than words to make us whole.

Ice-age heat wave, can't complain
If the world's at large, why should I remain?
Walked away to another plan.
Gonna find another place, maybe one I can stand

hmmm even if your kids see perfection and then see corruption, it doesn't mean they'll go all out and try to change everything. most people just accept it and do silent debates that don't mean or change anything.
having an actual beautiful world free of corruption just sounds so dillusional cuz I doubt it'll ever happen in our lifetime. there's just too much corruption.

I get what your saying. Maybe we need to show them beauty and passion then? Instead of just beauty. Passion always incites change.
