The fabulousness of our new home has become a joke around here since everyday we discover some new delight. But the one on Monday really takes the cake! That's totally awesomeness!!! I've been thinking about what to plant next year as well. So far I know I was some Thyme and tomato plants. And I'll probably still have some Marigold seeds from this year so I'll have those again :) Hee, isn't gardening fun~

BTW I love your icon!!!

Squee!!! Thanks and yes gardening is fabulous fun! We're thinking for sure some tomatoes, maybe some spinach since we go through so much of it. Oh and I want to get a pomegranate tree! :)

Thanks! The person who made it killed her lj journal which imo is practically a crime since she had such crazy amazing icons!

I've never grown tomatoes before in my life but my father and my great grandfather both did. Now that I'm back on speaking terms with my dad *crosses fingers that continues going smoothly* I can ask him advice for when to plant and where :)

I'm wanting something too that attracts butterflies and faeries. Thyme was featured in the Summer 2009 issue of Faerie magazine...besides it's purple, and pretty. Hehehe~

Plants that attract butterflies: Cosmos, zinnia, fennel, valerian, butterfly weed, butterfly bush.
Plants that attract faeries: thyme, foxglove, valerian, chamomile, hawthorn (this one is actually a shrub/tree), alyssum
