Sad, sad ungrateful traitors

Long boring story, but upshot, after five years, I had the overwhelming desire to watch S7 of Buffy. From "Empty Places" to the finale to be specific. God, I loved that show. All these years, and I still got just as pissed off at the Scoobies, Giles and the sniveling Slayerettes for kicking Buffy out of her own house. The little snits! lol

Hee! There are still episodes I can't watch without wishing her 'friends' severe bodily harm. ;)

LOL Right?? ;)

The mark of an amazing show, to still bring out those feelings.

I had proof that my curmudgeonhood is advancing...I caught the pre-fight scene from Smashed the other night, and thought, "Spike's really being a jerk". Sigh. I remember when I thought it was unbelievably hot, but those halcyon days are done.

The passage of time had me watching this in a little less 'shippy way, and I found myself looking at the bigger picture. Also wishing Spike had not come back on Angel. lol Which I was always ambivalent about anyway. I was, as always, still supportive of our girl. But, Angel and Kennedy still annoyed me and I still cried when Spike told Buffy she was "The One".

Angel is much preferable now that he's Booth :)

Oh, yeah, Buffy's still my girl. And OMWF still blows me away.
